What is poke ____? Mean too. Im having a little trouble starting mine and looking for some info. As much as i can get about facebook and how to work mine.

Poking is just like saying "hey!" it can often be interpereted as a sexual advance or just being playful -- basically just whatever you want it to mean. Conversation starter, a way to bug someone, whatever!

Facebook is like myspace but a better forcus on content standards. You can find out a bunch of standard info on a person and communicate with them without too many ads or the annoyingness that is Myspace Layouts.

basically Facebook is a grown up myspace. go to your profile and edit it and put in all the info you want. Your homepage will have a FEED which will show you info about your friends, like "ken and sally are now friends" or "dave posted on your wall"

well it`s more classy than myspace in a way, and there aren`t that many people on facebook, so it`s safer i guess. pokes are just for fun.
