do you install the layout but use your other different contact table?

what codes would you have to edit?

If you like a myspace layout but want to use a different ' contact table' than what the layout provides, how

A generator just puts a whole bunch of codes into one. Your going to have to find the code for the contact table in the layout code and delete it. Most contact table codes look the same except for the url and that stuff, so look for something that looks like this in the code:

%26lt;style%26gt;

.contactTable { width: 300px !important; height: 150px !important; padding: 0px !important; background-image: url('http://dl3.glitter-graphics.net/pub/197/... background-attachment: scroll; background-position: center center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-color: transparent; }

.contactTable table, table.contactTable td { padding: 0px !important; border: 0px; background-color: transparent; background-image: none; }

.contactTable a img { visibility: hidden; border: 0px !important; }

.contactTable a { display: block; height: 28px; width: 115px; }

.contactTable .text { font-size: 1px !important; }

.contactTable .text, .contactTable a, .contactTable img { filter: none !important; }

%26lt;/style%26gt;

It will look similar to that, it will say contact table over and over again like this one does. Once you find it in the layout code, delete it. Then you can add on the contact table you like. You just have to find the code to the contact table and place it in your profile. That's the only code that you would have to change.

Their myspace layout generator offers a collection of contact tables you can choose from. They even let you make your own custom ones.

I made my own contact table template with Photoshop. The template is 300 x 150 pixels. Then uploaded it to photobucket.com to host my image. Here is the code for contact table:

%26lt;style type="text/css"%26gt;

.contactTable {

width:300px !important; height:150px !important; padding:0px !important;

background-image:url("ENTER YOUR HOST IMAGE LINK HERE");

background-attachment:scroll;

background-position:center center;

background-repeat:no-repeat;

background-color:transparent;

}

.contactTable table, table.contactTable td {

padding:0px !important;border:0px;

background-color:transparent;

background-image:none;}

.contactTable a img {visibility:hidden; border:0px !important;}

.contactTable .text {font-size:1px !important;}

.contactTable .text, .contactTable a, .contactTable img {filter:none !important;}

.contactTable .whitetext12 {display:none;}

%26lt;/style%26gt;
